Our speakers for the 2008 Men's Leadership Advance are mature men who have served as church leaders, faithful husbands, and home-schooling fathers:
- Scott Brown
ministers as one of the Elders of Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest,
North Carolina. He is the Director of the National Center for Family-Integrated
Churches and has spoken at many Uniting Church and Family conferences
sponsored by Vision Forum. Besides his preaching, teaching, and writing,
Scott is married to Deborah and they have been blessed with four children.
He is a graduate of Talbot Theological Seminary (M.Div.).
- Marcus Serven
serves as the Pastor of Covenant Family Church (RPCGA) in Troy, Missouri.
He and his wife Cheryl enjoy living in the country with their nine children.
The Servens have been home educators for twenty-three years. Marcus
delights in telling the remarkable stories of God’s providence in
his sermons & historical articles (www.genevanfoundation.com).
He is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and
Covenant Theological Seminary (Th.M.).
